An independently produced, haphazardly circulated and evidently opinion-splitting double LP (and related ephemera) by the mysterious, exiled American author-as-producer/artist-as-critic-as-artist Georgio 'the Dove' Valentino. An aural Rorschach test in which the casual listener discerns (and dismisses) her 'other' while the interested listener (a statistical outlier, to be sure) might rather discern one or more of herselves. The product of an ongoing, years-long performance piece fusing tactical conceptual play-- which sometimes even approaches 'real' popular music-- and buzz-killing critical reflection. Sad trumpet. Features four schizoid sides of music, recorded in several countries with the assistance of over a dozen international co-conspirators including violinist Blaine L. Reininger of Tuxedomoon and sleeve artist Steven Johnson Leyba. Also encompasses a running catalogue of experience (see below) and the serial publication of a Geistbuch on the late Italian poet, singer and performance artist Piero Ciampi.
