ELENA M. ROSA LAVITA . DENIS VIGNOLI - 23 . CD

Elena (electric bass, noises and objects) is a visual artist who, after dealing with ambient installations and graphics for record album covers, then approached music by interpreting it as a further expressive medium rather than as a language for its own sake. Repetitive ambient, minimal structures, soundscapes, textures of noises and samplings, all rigorously analogical. In last few years she released two solo albums and several collaborations with interesting Italian and not only musicians, publishing for both Italian and foreign labels.

Denis (EGC guitar and effects pedals) condenses the visceral passion for music with no genres and borders in the distorted sustain of his guitar. In 2022 he published, under an English label, a work with the moniker The Grow.

Low-fi recordings, Industrial atmospheres, conceptual rooms populated by symbolic, hermetic, magical and alchemical elements, drones, loops and repetitions are the meeting place where Elena and Denis weave the collection of distorted, obsessive, improvised lullabies (yet not without of an hidden melody) which compose the work, mixed by the Swedish musician Joachim Nordwall, to be released on October 23, 2023 for the Norwegian label TIBProd and the Italian Rodenfaust records:
