Swami Nirvanananda was born in Italy and after traveling to India many years ago was initiated into the Dashnami Vedanta Order and became a wandering monk. His Guru is Paramahansa Yogananda. A gifted musician, Swami Nirvanananda spends much of his time traveling the world chanting to the Master. Each year he travels to Italy and other countries in Europe, then to the United States and on to Hawaii, before returning to India.
