Con più di 400 concerti in tutta Europa, tra festival, teatri e club; con tre dischi all'attivo e tantissime collaborazioni (Goran Kovacevic, Marzouk Mejri, Orchestrada e molti altri) la Baro Drom è una delle più belle realtà nel panorama della world music europea. Il quartetto nato con la passione per le ritmiche infuocate dell'est Europa e per le melodie del Mediterraneo, ha negli anni sviluppato un proprio linguaggio originale. Nelle nuove composizioni si possono scovare sonorità brasiliane, echi di musica mongola e colori mediorientali. Ascoltare strumenti ancestrali come il berimbau o l'udu amalgamarsi con le melodie della fisarmonica e del violino, sentire vecchi Farfisa e un contrabbasso distorto cadenzare il passo di danze ipnotiche. Un mondo sonoro inedito che non tradisce però l'energia e lo stile che ha sempre contraddistinto la band. Con Modestino Musico (fisarmonica, synth); Vieri Bugli (violino elettrico); Michele Staino (contrabbasso elettrico); Gabriele Pozzolini (batteria percussioni, electronics), sono tante le collaborazioni di questo nuovo lavoro. L'oud di Achref Argui, il liuto cantabile di Mauro Palmas, il flauto di Massimo Giuntini e la tromba di Nicola Cellai, oltre alla neonata collaborazione con Andrea Locci, che ha impreziosito l'artwork dell'album con le sue visionarie opere d'arte.

With more than 500 concerts throughout Europe, including festivals, theaters and clubs; with three albums and lots of collaborations (Goran Kovacevic, Marzouk Mejri, Orchestrada and more) Baro Drom is one of the most beautiful realities in the world music scene in Europe. The quartet, born with the passion for the fiery rhythms of Eastern Europe and the melodies of the Mediterranean, over the years has developed its own original language. In the new compositions you can hear Brazilian sounds, echoes of Mongolian music and Middle Eastern colors. Listen to ancestral instruments such as the berimbau and the udu amalgamate with the melodies played by the accordion and violin, vintage Farfisas and a distorted double bass to create unusual hypnotic dances. A new world of sound that does not betray the energy and style that has always distinguished the band. With Modestino Musico (accordion, synth); Vieri Bugli (electric violin); Nichele Staino (electric douible bass); Gabriele Pozzolini (percussion), there are many collaborations on this new work. The oud of Achref Argui, the lute cantabile by Mauro Palmas, the flute by Massimo Giuntini and the trumpet by Nicola Cellai, in addition to the new collaboration with Andrea Locci, which has embellished the album's artwork with its visionary works of art.
